Model 3550 is the largest standard platform trailer at 16ft x 6ft6 although the body length can be increased to 22ft and the width to 7ft or 7ft6. Three axles can also be fitted but any increase in unladen weight will reduce the payload within the 3500kg maximum legal gross weight.

All trailers in the platform trailer range are fully galvanised, and have Avonride softride fully independent rubber suspension axles and a hydraulically damped hitch with a lockable cast coupling and power assisted hand brake.

Standard equipment includes a phenol coated plywood floor, flush fitting side rails with post sockets and roping hooks, spare wheel, a front telescopic jockey wheel and full road lights.

Model 3550 with twin axles is available with a hydraulic tilting body and ramp door to load equipment with a low ground clearance. Steel sides are available for trailers up to 16' long
